Attitude Of Gratitude
My attitude determines everything about me, and how I view life. Even today I still work on my “attitude of gratitude” remembering how incredibly good God has been to me.
A few years ago I read a quote that put skin on my mantra “attitude of gratitude.” Whether it was within another person or me, an attitude adjustment could succeed with gratitude. I found that for me, this was the heart of the matter: my day filled with gratitude or not determined how I looked at the world and my day's success.
In reality, this happens even in how I treated the people or circumstances around me. It was my choice to ask God to help me with an attitude of gratitude. So I would write down 10 things for which I was grateful. If that wasn’t enough, then it was 20 things. Until gratefulness “took over” and “won” in me, the list grew. Generally speaking, however, I was doing pretty good by 20 items and found I could not only face today with a richer view of life but I could look to tomorrow and the future with excitement, hope, and passion!
